Our History
From Necessity to Collective Action
PSATE was created by professional fishermen who recognized the need for collective representation and adaptation to the new conditions of fishing and tourism. In an environment of increasing challenges for coastal fishing, fishing tourism has emerged as a sustainable prospect for preserving the profession and maritime tradition.
Since its establishment, the association has been working to organize, promote, and institutionalize fishing tourism, giving a voice to the people of the sea and strengthening their role in local communities.
